It all started on a hospital bed with a laptop and a dream.

In 2012, while in complete isolation and having a life-changing Bone Marrow Transplant with a 50/50 chance of survival, I decided to chase my dream and launch my first eCommerce store.

Fast forward to today, I am the Founder & CEO of Raven & Macaw with a fast-growing team of 15 full-time employees. From OWL Optical Management Software (SaaS) to Digital Marketing & Web services, Raven & Macaw is a fully integrated digital solution exclusively for the Optical Industry.

I have been privileged to be elected as Manchester Youth Councilor (2016-18), Deputy Member of UK youth parliament (2017-18) and Member of the Greater Manchester Youth Combined Authority (2017-18); representing over 45,000 young people in Manchester on a local, regional and national level. During my tenure, I have worked on various local and national campaigns such as Youth Homelessness (Partispace EU), Curriculum4Life, CommonUnity, RadEqual, Don’t Hate, Educate and Portrait Youth.

I am a member of the World Economic Forum’s, Global Shapers Community; an initiative developed and led by young people who are exceptional in their potential, their achievements and their ability to drive global change.

I have been a keynote speaker & panellist at several events such as the University of Manchester Black History Month Conference, The MCC Growth and Strategic Development Conference and the Manchester Annual Youth Buzz Awards.

Featured/Seen in British Fashion Council, British Vogue, 10 Magazine & GQ after a successful Youth Fashion & Identity campaign in collaboration with MMU & MYC.
